AI:The Guys 2/27/07

The guys did a much better job last night than they did last week. I thought everyone did much better except for Sanjaya. I am not really sure what he was thinking, the song was boring and very forgetable. My favorite performances of the night were Sundance, Blake, Chris Sligh, and Chris Richardson. I have a feeling that Sanjaya and Nick Pedro are going home Thursday night.

The Results

Last night was result night on American Idol. I couldn't believe that Antonella got to stay on the show. She sucked! She is a pretty girl but she butchered Aerosmith. But the girl who I couldn't understand when she sang went home so I was happy with that. As for the guys I have a feeling they will all be gone soon enough. They don't stand out against the girls.

American Idol

I hate to admit it but I love American Idol! I am addicted to the show. This year I really thought either Sundance or Chris Sligh would wow me and I was disappointed. The song that Sundance chose was not a good choice for a pop show like AI. I am pretty sure most of people who watch the show are older ladies or high school kids so pick something semi-modern so you can appeal to the kiddies. Chris has a great sense of humor and I like his voice but I had never heard the song he sang Tuesday night but that's okay. I think as far as the guys goes the guy who sand Back At One by Brian McKnight was pretty good.

Last night we got to see the girls, who by far are way better than the guys. The girls were great. There were a couple of girls who sucked and I hope they go home tonight. I like LaKeshia the best of all the girls, she brought down the house. Her voice is amazing. Tonight is the results show so we will get to see who goes home.

Awh Man...

I think I am finally growing up. I was all excited this weekend becuase I was throwing a Mardi Gras party, then when I was with my friends it was boring! I mean I was litterally bored. We sat around and watched SNL. Yes that's right...instead of drinking games and flashing my goodies I was sitting on the couch watching SNL. I am becoming my Mother! At midnite I was ready to call it a night. I was in bed by 12:30. Geez! I suck!

V-Day

I don't understand why girls expect flowers and candy on Valentines Day. It is just another day. A card is nice but I don't see why they actually get upset when their boyfriend doesn't have a dozen roses delivered on V-day. We had a girl in our office throw a hissy fit because she didn't get flowers and some other girl did. What is the big freakin' deal? I have never really understood Valentines Day anyways. It's stupid. Calm down ladies.

Weekend

Friday night I went with Bobbi, Myles, Jason, Shawna and my husband to Southern Hills. It was an okay time except for the 45 minuets that Bobbi told me what a bitch I was, but she loved me for it. She kept going on and on about what a bitch I was and how everyone felt sorry for my husband for having to put up with me. It was ridiculous. Apparently after I left for the evening she decided to tell Shawna about how I knew her boyfriend was dealing drugs and how I thought she needed to leave him and move on to something better. Bobbi had told me I should keep my opinion to myself and stay out of Shawna's life so that's what I did. I never said anything to Shawna and then Bobbi goes and opens her mouth. WTF? Anyway I am trying very hard to get over it. I love Bobbi to death so it's not worth getting all upset over it.

Sunday of course we had a Super Bowl party. It was pretty fun. I don't really watch the game I just watch the commercials and half time. I thought Prince was great! I love Prince though. He rocks my socks!
