The Ex Part III

It turns out that Dillon has the "flesh eating virus". That is why the doctors have had to perform three surgeries on him, they were trying to get all the narcrotic tissue out and drain any puss or infection. His cultures yesterday came back saying that nothing was currently growing so that is a good sign. He is still on the feeding tube, but they are allowing him to have ice chips and that's a step in the right directions. If everything goes well he should be on a clear liquid diet by Monday then on soft foods by Friday. So far he has lost 30 lbs. since he was admitted Monday, March 20th. He seems to be doing really well now. The doctors say that they are just taking it day by day. They said he could be great today and then gone tomorrow. But I am hoping that he can just keep getting better and better.
